It’s a great thing to be able to share music, but it’s a whole other level when a talented cellist, and good friend, like James McGonigle, ups and covers one of your arrangements. I feel totally blown away, and deeply honoured that James has chosen to cover “Why Is The Rum Always Gone”. James is, without a doubt, one of the most talented cellists in the world today, and certainly the best I’ve ever come across.

So here’s a link. Do yourself a favour and go listen to James McGonigle playing my arrangement of “Why Is The Rum Always Gone”. It’s fantastic.

You could also do a lot worse than spend some time surfing through his remarkable cover versions of film, TV and game themes.
